John “Buz” Hosfield - Proprieter #

Buz was born and raised in the small mining town of Bisbee, Arizona. He then attended and graduated from the University of Arizona before entering the United States Army. After his service as an officer, he moved to Los Angeles and began a 40 year career as a banker and family man. Retirement brought him to the Ozarks and in 2007 he purchased the building that would house White River Brewing Company. After several years of renovation to the building, brewing equipment was purchased in 2012 and White River Brewing Company began production.

Kevin Sparks - Certified Keg Cleaner/ Cellar Rat #

The details of Kevin's life are quite inconsequential. Very well, where do we begin? His father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. His mother was a fifteen year old Branson tour guide named Chloe Marie with webbed feet. His father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the White River. Some times he would accuse paw-paws of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. His childhood was typical, summers at Table Rock Lake, luge lessons. In the spring he'd make meat helmets. When he was insolent, he was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 he received his first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved his backside. There really is nothing like a shorn backside, it's breathtaking, he would suggest you try it.

Hailey Paige - Brewery Representative #

Hailey is originally from Catalina Island off the coast of California. Drug here with no means of return. She finally settled with the idea and began to learn the Missouri ways. She worked with local food for a long time, while divulging in local brews. Opportunities come and go as they always do, but this gem was impossible to pass up. I mean who wouldn't want to work in the surroundings of the best beer in Springfield, MO. She Paints, she up cycles, she drinks craft beer..... nuff said.

Dani Newlon - Taproom Manager #

To escape her sizable gambling debts acquired in Minnesota, Dani Newlon arrived in Missouri by riverboat a mere 20 years ago. She soon regained part of her lost fortune hosting baby leg wrestling competitions in her studio apartment as well as moonlighting as a downtown rickshaw driver for the local boogans. All was going splendidly until the dreaded rickshaw corporate rebellion of 2013 in which the rickshaw unions were successfully busted by corporate interests from St. Louis and Kansas City. Always a woman of vision, Dani would not be content with these minor setbacks and she soon found employment at White River as the official New Batch Guinea Pig. As her tolerance has greatly increased, so has her appreciation for White River’s incredible craft beers.

Steve McDonald - Tour Guide #

Steve is our self proclaimed Beer Evangelist. He's been known to jump over small cats. He can lift tens of pounds. He once threw a baseball 20 feet. He is the most interesting tour guide on Commercial Street.
